What does the award consist of?
The award consists of a crystal award and a monetary award.
Does the service work have to be local in a persons own community?
Yes. While we admire those who serve outside their own communities or do international service work, we are looking to honor those who serve on a local level.
What type of service work qualifies?
The types of services performed or the sectors the individuals serve are endless. From helping feed those experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, sex trafficking victims, or being a youth mentor to just name a few. Keep in mind however, "those in need" refers to serving "person to person".
